Trump says there will be a 'bloodbath' if he isn't reelected

On Saturday, former president Donald Trump promised that if he is not re-elected in November, there will be a "bloodbath."

Trump made the remarks during a rally in this area, when he talked about the potential for escalating trade tensions with China over car production. Prior to Ohio's primary on Tuesday, the purpose of the gathering was to mobilize support for Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, whom Trump had backed in December.

"President Xi, if you're listening, he knows how I handle things. You and I are buddies. You're not going to employ Americans in those massive, monster auto factories you're now developing in Mexico, nor are you going to sell the automobiles to us. If I am elected, you won't be able to sell those automobiles because we will impose a 100% charge on every single car that crosses the border, Trump declared.

"Now, that's going to be the least of it—a bloodbath for the whole if I don't get elected," he said. "This will be a massacre for the nation." It won't get much worse than that. However, they won't sell those vehicles. They are erecting enormous factories.

"If this election isn't won, I'm not sure that you'll ever have another election in this country," he said afterwards.

"Biden's policies will create an economic bloodbath for the auto industry and autoworkers," Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said to NBC News in reaction to the former president's remarks.

Following Trump's comments, former Vice President Mike Pence declared he would not support Trump's campaign for reelection, according to a statement released by President Joe Biden's spokesperson, James Singer.

Singer declared, "This is the real Donald Trump: a loser who loses by more than seven million votes and then doubles down on his threats of political violence instead of trying to appeal to a wider mainstream audience." "The American people will hand him another electoral defeat this November because they continue to reject his extremism, his fondness for violence, and his thirst for vengeance. He wants another January 6."

The song "Justice for All," performed on the loudspeakers by the "J6 choir" of prisoners awaiting trial for their involvement in the uprising, played before the former president took the podium and saluted.

He used the term "hostages" to describe those incarcerated for offenses related to the attack on January 6, 2021.

Trump began his address by saying, "You know that, and everybody knows that they've been treated terribly and very unfairly." And starting on the day we report to work, we will be working on it. We will work with the populace to treat those incredible patriots with dignity while we fight to save our nation.

Additionally, Trump stated during the gathering that some undocumented immigrants were "not people," but he clarified that he was "not allowed to say that because the radical left says it's a terrible thing to say." Additionally, he advised Catholics not to support Biden.

"Voting for this numbskull as a Catholic is insane, as you are facing persecution," declared Trump.

Biden is the second Roman Catholic president in history to be elected.
